How You Can Get Involved in CyberMACS Activities as an Industry Expert?
In CyberMACS, industry professionals can participate as guest speakers in seminars and lectures, sharing their real-world experiences and insights on cybersecurity topics. Experts from cyber security industry can take a part in Winter School/Summer School and involve practical workshops, case studies, and hands-on training. Industry experts can lead sessions on the latest cybersecurity tools and technologies, offering students a chance to apply their knowledge in a practical setting. Moreover, industry professionals can serve as short-term lecturers to provide specialized expertise in specific cybersecurity topics. Industry experts can design and present real-world challenges, such as capture-the-flag (CTF) competitions, that test students’ skills and knowledge.
Standards for Eligibility:
Aspiring candidates for the position of visiting scholar and expert from industry are required to meet the following standards.
Excellence in the Teaching
If you are an expert from cyber security and would like to teach in CyberMACS curricula (on regular courses) you should have a Ph.D. in a field directly related to cybersecurity or relevant fields. Candidates should also demonstrate significant participation in research and pedagogical activities, such as teaching, coaching, or training, at the Higher Education level.
OR
If you would like to be involved in seminars or joint events such as CyberMACS Winter School expertise in cybersecurity field is required. Recognition as an expert in cybersecurity field within the private, public, or non-profit sectors with more than 5 years professional expertise is necessary.
Language Skills
CyberMACS’s all activities are English. The Candidates shall communicate effectively and fluently with our international and multilingual student body through his/her command of the English language in both written and oral forms.
