Exploring Opportunities & History in Berlin!
Last week, Anooth and Karim of the SRH visa and residence permit service hosted an info session on the job seeker permit, which allows our CyberMACS students to stay in Germany and kick-start their careers once they have finished their Master’s degree!
After the session, we took a deep dive into Berlin’s past with a visit to Tränenpalast – the “Palace of Tears” at Friedrichstraße station. This historic site was once a Cold War border crossing where countless emotional goodbyes took place as families and friends were separated by the Berlin Wall. Today, it stands as a powerful museum, preserving stories of division, resilience, and reunification.
The students were captivated by the visit, asking SRH’s Local Administrative Coordinator Virginie—who grew up in the former GDR—insightful questions about life behind the Wall. It was an eye-opening experience, connecting the past with their future in Berlin!
A Magical Christmas with Our CMACS Students at SRH! ✨🎄
This Monday, we had the pleasure of hosting a heartwarming Christmas event with the talented CMACS students! Navaneeth, Alexander, Katja, and our new intern Mert joined in to make the day extra special.
We kicked things off on campus with delicious German Christmas treats and festive decorations. To top it off, Santa made a surprise visit and handed out presents to everyone!
But the magic didn’t stop there – we wrapped up the day with a trip to the enchanting Christmas market at Charlottenburg Castle, giving the students a true taste of the holiday spirit.
It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
We explored the stunning glass dome and learned about its rich history
Two days ago, after an inspiring meeting at SRH, we had an amazing trip to the iconic Reichstag with our CyberMACS students! We explored the stunning glass dome, learned about its rich history, and ended the day warming up in a cozy café inside a massive bookstore. Despite the chilly weather, it was unforgettable!
