CyberMACS QAB Meeting Reinforces Academic Quality and Student Support Across Partner Institutions

On July 4, 2025, the fourth meeting of the CyberMACS Quality Assurance Board (QAB) was successfully held online, with the participation of academic and administrative representatives from partner universities (KHAS, UKIM, SRH Berlin), student representatives, and members of the Quality Assurance Task Force. The meeting was coordinated by Dr. Elissa Mollakuqe, Assoc. Prof. Hristina Mihajloska, and Katja Schulze.

The discussion focused on reviewing the progress of ongoing quality assurance activities, analyzing student survey results from the three institutions, and aligning institutional practices to allow for objective and comparable evaluation processes. The methodology of the Quality Assurance Task Force was presented, emphasizing a four-phase process: planning, implementation, analysis, and recommendations.

Professor Danilo Gligoroski provided valuable recommendations to strengthen the evaluation system. The importance of graduate tracking was also addressed, and work is already underway on the development of a centralized alumni database. The meeting concluded with broad agreement to incorporate all updates and recommendations into the final quality report. CyberMACS remains committed to maintaining a strong quality assurance framework that supports academic excellence, professional development, and long-term student success in the field of cybersecurity across Europe.
