CyberUS Spring School 2026

More than 10 students from the 2nd and 3rd intakes of the CyberMACS Programme participated in the CyberUS Spring School 2026, held in Lorient, France.

The Spring School offered an intensive and interdisciplinary learning environment, bringing together students, researchers, and cybersecurity professionals from different international backgrounds. Throughout the week, participants attended lectures, workshops, and technical sessions focusing on some of the most current challenges in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

The programme covered a wide range of advanced topics, including agentic AI for secure digital infrastructures, log analysis and compliance, confidential computing, industrial control system security, cyber influence operations, and adversarial machine learning in the era of large language models (LLMs). In addition to technical knowledge, the sessions emphasized broader cybersecurity themes such as resilience, governance, and the complexity of real-world digital systems.

One of the highlights of the event was the Capture The Flag (CTF) competition, where CyberMACS students actively participated in a highly collaborative and competitive environment. The challenges encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and practical application of cybersecurity skills, making the experience both academically and professionally valuable.

CyberMACS students proudly represented the programme throughout the event, contributing to discussions, technical activities, and international collaboration opportunities.

Cybersecurity is not only about technical expertise; it is also about community, collaboration, and continuous learning. The CyberUS Spring School 2026 provided an excellent opportunity for students to strengthen both their technical competencies and their international academic network.CyberMACS would like to thank all organizers, speakers, and participants for making the event a meaningful and inspiring experience
