CyberMACS Holds 5th Quality Assurance Board Meeting

The CyberMACS Quality Assurance Board (QAB) held its fifth meeting on March 12, 2026, bringing together representatives from partner institutions to assess programme progress and outline priorities for the upcoming period.
During the meeting, the Board reviewed key developments in the programme’s quality assurance framework, including the implementation of monitoring tools, evaluation processes, and performance indicators. CyberMACS continues to demonstrate strong growth, with 92 students from 38 nationalities enrolled and a rising number of applications, reaching 1,321 in the latest cycle. The programme has also contributed to academic research with 35 publications, including 25 led by students.
The discussion highlighted strong performance in programme delivery and student engagement, while identifying the need to further strengthen high-impact research outputs and expand industry partnerships. Notably, the programme achieved a 100% internship placement rate for its first intake.
Feedback from students and lecturers confirmed high satisfaction with key academic activities, while also emphasizing the importance of increasing hands-on training, broadening technical topics such as digital forensics and privacy-enhancing technologies, and enhancing industry collaboration opportunities.
The Board also reviewed the action plan for the next intake, focusing on improving academic quality, practical learning, and student support processes. In addition, steps will be taken to establish a structured external evaluation mechanism in line with European standards.
As CyberMACS moves forward, the programme remains committed to continuous improvement, academic excellence, and long-term sustainability. The next Quality Assurance Board meeting is scheduled for July 2026.
