CyberMACS CTF 2026

The CyberMACS CTF 2026 was held on 11 January 2026 at Kadir Has University as an on-site Jeopardy-style cybersecurity competition using the CTFd platform, marking the final day of the CyberMACS 2026 Winter School. The event brought together students to tackle a series of hands-on challenges across key cybersecurity domains, including Web Exploitation, Forensics, Cryptography, Reverse Engineering, Steganography, and Cyber Threat Intelligence. Designed to simulate real-world cybersecurity scenarios, the competition encouraged participants to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical, time-constrained environment, fostering problem-solving, analytical thinking, and technical proficiency.

The competition successfully promoted active student engagement and technical skill development within the CyberMACS programme, serving as a capstone activity for the Winter School. At the conclusion of the event, Javier Soruco Lopez secured first place, followed by Kenan Ktit in second place, and Arnoldo Isaias Rodriguez Moreno in third place. Their outstanding performance highlighted the high level of competence and dedication demonstrated by CyberMACS students throughout the Winter School.
