Strengthening CyberMACS Connections: Dr. Hilal Yalçın to Conduct Erasmus+ Staff Mobility at TU Darmstadt 

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Hilal Yalçın, from the Research and Development Resource Directorate at Kadir Has University (KHas), participated in an Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training at the System Security Lab of Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany, from May 6–9, 2025. 

TU Darmstadt is home to Dr. Elissa Mollakuqe, one of the remote Khas team members of the CyberMACS, and a valuable contributor to the programme’s quality assurance efforts. This mobility visit, therefore, not only supports individual professional development but also reinforces ties within the CyberMACS stakeholder network. 

During her stay, Dr. Yalçın engaged in structured training and discussions focused on global engagement and institutional research strategies, with the goal of strengthening international collaboration and fostering knowledge transfer between KHas and TU Darmstadt. 

Importantly, this visit will also serve as an opportunity to conduct internal awareness activities within the Coordinating University of the programme, Khas, helping to raise the visibility of the CyberMACS programme across different departments and teams, even institutes. These efforts are in line with the programme’s mission to promote cross-institutional collaboration, academic excellence, capacity building and integrate cybersecurity education into wider academic and operational contexts. 

We congratulate Dr. Yalçın on this international opportunity and look forward to the insights and synergies it will generate for both KHas and the broader CyberMACS community.
